Pellet Grill Front Shelf – Cutting and Prep Board Teak

Custom crafted from Teak this cutting board may be used as front shelf, cutting board, serving platter or BBQ slab.  This is not your average cutting board.  The large board/shelf measures 35.5″ x 15″ x 1″.  Each board comes with a carved juice groove on one side. The shelf will have a plain bottom with no grooves for brackets (more universal fit). We are no longer cutting probe holders or engraving the temp chart on the shelf.    We can still do it, but it is rarely asked for.  Every board is custom cut, hand sanded and finished with our custom blend of food safe mineral oil and wax.  We use Teak for several reasons:

• Teak provides an excellent cutting surface.  It is both food safe and easy on your knives.
• Teak is one of the hardest strongest, and most durable of the hardwood family. Containing natural oil that makes it water resistant, teak wood is also resistant to warping, cracking, or becoming brittle. All of these qualities make teak wood weather resistant.  Teak is the number one choice  for elegant but weather resistant wood for boat trim and outdoor furniture.
• Easy to maintain.  if the wood appears dry, a few simple wipes with our food safe cutting board cream will bring it back to life in minutes.
• It is beautiful, exotic and provides you with an unusually elegant and unique shelf or serving board.
